YOUTH WORK AT TALWANDI BHARO
Under the patronage of 'PAHAL', guidance of Gram Panchayat of Talwandi Bharo and inspiration of Ms. Kuldeep Kaur rural youth started a campaign for weed eradication, cleanliness of circular road of the village and mass tree plantation for the last one month. Prof. Lakhbir Singh said while observing the good work done by youth that only inspired, motivate and involved youth can change the destiny of the rural Punjab. No doubt integrated youth is the real asset of the national. Through involvement is health, education, environment activity, they are not protecting them for drugs and other evils, but they are creating a better group for coming generations.

In the last month they have cleaned weed from both cremation grounds of the village and the circular road planted 600 trees of various types. 'PAHAL' promised to provide them 600 more saplings for plantation. Prof. Lakhbir Singh advised the youth to plant at least 5000 saplings in the coming 5 years for biological diversity and wild life protection.
