PAHAL believes that young people are not just the leaders of tomorrow-they are the changemakers of today. Since our inception, we have worked closely with students, educational institutions and youth groups to provide meaningful opportunities for learning, community engagement and practical experience.
We collaborate with several colleges and educational institutions in Jalandhar and have signed Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with partner institutions to facilitate student engagement through internships, field projects and community development programmes.
Whether you are looking to gain practical experience, undertake a research project, fulfil academic requirements or contribute to society, PAHAL provides opportunities to learn while making a positive impact.
Students can engage with PAHAL through:
PAHAL works across a range of thematic areas, allowing students from different academic backgrounds to gain relevant experience.
Work directly with communities, participate in awareness programmes and understand grassroots development processes.
Participate in environmental education, biodiversity conservation, plantation drives, waste management initiatives and sustainability projects.
Students of ecology, environmental science and related disciplines can gain field experience through biodiversity assessments, ecological surveys, habitat restoration projects and environmental monitoring activities.
Support community health initiatives, awareness campaigns and public engagement activities.
Develop practical skills in communication, public outreach, programme coordination and event management.
Our team works closely with students to provide guidance, mentorship and practical exposure that complements academic learning.
Whether you already have a project idea or are looking for guidance in identifying a suitable topic, we would be happy to support you. Students may also propose their own projects that align with PAHAL’s mission and areas of work.
If you are a student, researcher, NSS volunteer or faculty member interested in collaborating with PAHAL, we would love to hear from you.
