In today’s digital world, computer literacy has become essential for education, employment and everyday life. Access to digital skills not only improves career prospects but also enables individuals to participate confidently in an increasingly technology-driven society.
Recognizing this need, PAHAL, with the support of SOSVA Punjab, launched the Computer Training Programme in January 2026 to equip young women with practical digital skills and enhance their educational and employment opportunities.
The programme aims to bridge the digital divide by providing quality computer education to girls and young women from diverse backgrounds. Through structured learning and practical training, participants gain the knowledge, confidence and skills needed to effectively use technology for education, professional development and personal growth.
By investing in digital literacy, PAHAL seeks to create pathways for greater independence, employability and social empowerment among young women.

The Computer Training Programme offers a six-month structured course designed to build essential computer and digital skills through a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on practical learning. Participants are introduced to the fundamentals of computer usage while also developing skills that are increasingly required in educational institutions and workplaces.
The programme emphasizes practical learning, ensuring that participants gain confidence in applying their skills in real-world situations.
PAHAL believes that digital literacy is a powerful tool for social and economic empowerment. Through the Computer Training Programme, we aim to ensure that young women have the skills and confidence needed to thrive in the digital age and participate fully in the opportunities of the modern economy.
By empowering young women with technology and knowledge, we are helping create a more inclusive, equitable and digitally connected future.
This programme is implemented by PAHAL with the support of SOSVA Punjab to promote digital literacy, education and women’s empowerment.
